Brendan is the founder and Managing Director of BG&A and leads a highly skilled team of associates. With a passion for improving access to quality professional development, Brendan has particular expertise in:

• developing blended learning and training programs for continuing professional development

• tailoring systems-wide training and professional development that are unique to each client

• managing each project from conception through to monitoring and evaluation

• devising accreditation processes to enable clients to meet their regulatory obligations.

He has developed industry-focused professional development and training programs with Monash University’s Victorian College of Pharmacy, Deakin University, and Swinburne’s Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Previously Brendan has held positions of Director of Education at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and Head of Department, BioSkills in Victoria.

Brendan has a strong interest in improving access to professional development particularly for health practitioners in rural and remote parts of Australia. He believes that professional development and learning are essential to building capacity and capability for a vibrant and responsive Australian healthcare workforce.

Deborah Burnett, Communications and Marketing Director

Deborah works closely with Brendan in crafting the messages and fine tuning the documentation that support and inform each project. She is a skilled communicator, whose experience as a marketing communications specialist was forged in government, not-for-profit and corporate roles over some 20 plus years.
